ARKITERM PEGAMALLA is a fine cementitious mortar specially formulated for fixing and embedding ceiling mesh on EPS panels in interior ceilings. Thanks to its controlled granulometry, it provides excellent workability and adhesion, facilitating a clean and uniform application. It can be used as a final finish when applying two coats (base coat, mesh, and finishing coat), or as an intermediate coat before applying a decorative mortar such as ARKIPLAST.
Ideal for construction systems with lightweight expanded polystyrene (EPS) ceilings in new construction or remodeling projects.
Formulation based on Portland cement, selected fine aggregates and special additives that improve the product's adhesion and handling.

Surface Preparation:
Check that the EPS board is securely attached and that the surface is free of dust or contaminants.
Mix:
Add 6 to 7 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag. Mix with a mechanical mixer until a smooth paste is obtained. Let stand for 5 minutes and mix again.
Application:
Apply a thin first layer with a smooth or notched trowel. Place and embed the ceiling mesh on the surface while the mortar is still fresh. Ensure an overlap of at least 5 cm between mesh panels.
Termination:
Apply a second thin coat to completely cover the mesh. This layer can be smoothed as a final finish or left ready to receive a decorative coating such as ARKIPLAST.
