ARKIMAX OVERLAY PSP is a high-performance cementitious adhesive formulated for installing ceramic floors over existing ceramic coverings. Its improved adhesion, special additives, and paste-like consistency allow for a secure and long-lasting hold, without the need to chip or demolish the original floor. Formulation based on Portland cement, selected mineral sands and special technical additives that improve adhesion to smooth, low-absorption surfaces.

Application thickness: 3 to 10 mm
Existing ceramic tiles firm and well-adhered
Level, clean, and smooth surfaces
Do not apply on wood, plaster, paint or surfaces with rising damp.
For floors with glossy or vitrified coatings, perform pre-scratching to improve anchoring.
Support preparation:
Ensure the existing ceramic floor is firm, level, and completely clean. Wash with degreasing detergent and rinse with plenty of water. Let dry completely. For high-gloss coatings, sand or roughen the surface.
Mix:
Add 5.0 to 5.5 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag. Mix with a mechanical mixer until a smooth paste is obtained. Let stand for 5-10 minutes and mix again without adding more water.
Application:
Apply with a notched trowel appropriate for the tile size. For large sizes or wet areas, it is recommended to also apply adhesive to the back of the tile (double bonding).
Cured:
Avoid traffic for the first 36 hours. Grout between 36 and 48 hours after installation.
