General Description

ARKIFLOOR NIVELA 10 is a premixed dry cementitious mortar designed for leveling interior floors in layers up to 10 mm thick. Its special formulation provides high fluidity, controlled self-leveling, and excellent adhesion, allowing irregularities to be corrected before installing coverings such as ceramic, laminate, vinyl, or carpeted floors. Its rapid drying time allows light foot traffic within a few hours and subsequent flooring installation within 24 hours.

Composition

Formulated with high-quality cement, selected mineral fillers with controlled granulometry, and special technical additives that guarantee fluidity, adhesion, and mechanical strength.

Features and Applications

  • Self-leveling cementitious mortar for interior use.

  • Application on concrete, mortar or solid cementitious floors.

  • Controlled fluidity that facilitates leveling without the need for a trowel.

  • Ideal as a base prior to installing ceramic, porcelain, vinyl, laminate, wood, carpet, etc. flooring.

  • Light pedestrian traffic from 4 to 6 hours.

  • Can be coated after 24 hours.

  • Not to be used as a final finish or outdoors.

Supports

  • Structural concrete.

  • Firm cementitious mortar.

  • Level and clean screeds or subfloors.

  • Do not apply on metal, wood, paint or rising damp surfaces.

  • If necessary, apply a compatible primer (ARKIFLOOR PRIMER) before applying the self-levelling compound.

Instructions for Use

Surface preparation:
Make sure the substrate is clean, dry, firm, and free of dust, grease, paint, wax, or contaminants.

Mix:
Add between 5.0 and 5.5 liters of clean water per 25 kg bag. Mix with a low-speed mechanical mixer (~500 rpm) until a smooth, fluid paste is obtained. Let stand for 2 minutes and remix before applying.

Application:
Pour the product onto the surface. Spread with a notched trowel or leveling rake. A spiked roller can be used to remove air bubbles. Apply in thicknesses between 2 and 10 mm. Do not apply in successive layers or over already set product.
